Annotations for Draft

Hi!

I’m trying to add some text to a 3D model and see it on the drawings as well. The text is Family Code.

  1. Sketch-text receives a Code and is visible on the Assembly, but not on the drawings. :frowning:
  2. Annotations-text. How can the Family Code or a parameter be added here? :frowning:

It’s ok with Annotations-Dimension, but what about the text?

    Video to demonstrate:

Hello MadCat

why do not you use the sketch where you have created the text as a detailing entity?

Maybe I’m doing something wrong. The sketch isn’t visible in the draft.

You have to create directions to define the views where you want them to be seen.
For example if you want them to be seen in isometric or perspective or in from view, you need to create 3 detailings.

olaio Thank you very much!
I also found that only ‘Wire Text’ in sketch is visible in the draft.

In the regular text options you need to check “Profiles”
